Adding a Listing

Turn your unused items into rental opportunities. A clear, detailed listing helps neighbors discover your item, understand what it offers, and book with confidence.

Before you begin

A successful listing starts with three main ingredients:

  1. Quality photos: Use good lighting and a clean, preferably white background to make your item stand out.
  2. The actual item: Have the item on hand and clean it thoroughly before taking photos. Show its current condition, including any visible wear or flaws.
  3. Helpful information: Gather accurate details about the item, its features, included accessories, and how to operate it safely.

Here is how to add your listing.

Step 1: Open your Owner dashboard

Visit the Linkiipal website or open the mobile app, then log in to your account.

Select Switch to List to open your Owner dashboard. At the top of the dashboard, select Products, then select Add New Product.

Step 2: Enter your item’s basic information

Select your item’s category and product type, enter the quantity, and provide its exact location. Then select Continue.

Accurate category and location details help renters find your item. The location also tells renters where to pick it up after a successful booking.

Step 3: Upload your item’s photos

Select Next to access the image upload section, then select Start Upload.

Upload your best photo first. The first uploaded image becomes your listing’s main photo.

Add clear, high-quality photos showing the actual item from different angles. Include close-ups of any visible wear or flaws so renters know what to expect.

You may also add a YouTube link with useful information about the item or instructions on how it works. This is optional.

Select Next to continue.

Step 4: Add your item’s name and description

In the Product Name field, enter a clear, specific title. Include the brand, item type, and relevant details to help renters find your listing in search results.

In the Description field, explain what the item does, its condition, key features, and any included accessories.

Select Next to continue.

Step 5: Confirm your item’s location

Review the location information and make sure it is accurate.

To protect your privacy, your public listing displays only the city, state, and country. Your exact pickup location is provided to the Renter after a successful booking.

Select Save to continue.

Step 6: Add specifications and safety requirements

Select the specifications that apply to your item, then select Continue.

Add your item’s safety checklist or requirements, including operating instructions, required protective equipment, or other precautions renters should know before use.

Select Next to continue.

Step 7: Set your rental rates

Enter a rate for each rental period in the appropriate fields:

  • Hourly rate
  • Daily rate
  • Weekly rate
  • Monthly rate

Linkiipal gives renters the flexibility to rent by the hour, day, week, or month, so be sure to complete all four rental rates.

Enter your security deposit amount in the designated field and leave the default currency unchanged.

Step 8: Choose your delivery options

If you would like to offer delivery, select the applicable option:

  • iDeliver: Choose this option if you will deliver and retrieve the item yourself. Enter your per-mile fee so the system can calculate the round-trip delivery charge.
  • WeDeliver: Choose this option if you would like Linkiipal to handle delivery and retrieval. Before selecting it, contact the Linkiipal delivery support team to confirm that the service is available in your area.

Select Next to continue.

Step 9: Choose how to accept bookings

Select your preferred booking option:

  • Review Each Request: Review each booking request and choose whether to accept or decline it. Respond within the required timeframe. If you do not respond in time, the booking will automatically expire.
  • Auto Accept: Booking requests are accepted automatically without requiring your approval.

Select Next to continue.

Step 10: Set your listing’s availability

Choose when your item should be available:

  • Always: Your item automatically becomes available for rent again after it is returned and the rental is completed.
  • One Time: Make your item available for a specific timeframe. Once that timeframe ends, the system automatically deactivates the listing, making it unavailable for rent.

Step 11: Publish your listing

Select Save to publish your listing.

Congratulations!! Your item is now ready for neighbors to discover and rent!
