For your safety and the safety of our community, every new account must verify their identity before they can start renting or listing an item.

Identity verification helps us confirm that users are who they say they are, reduce fraudulent activity, and build trust between Owners and Renters.

Linkiipal offers two options: Get Verified, powered by a third-party verification service, and LinkiiVerify, our manual verification method. Both provide full verification once approved.

Here is how to complete your identity verification in 3 easy steps.

Option 1: Get Verified — Fast track identity verification

This paid option lets you complete your verification through Stripe Identity.

1. Select Get Verified.
2. Pay the one-time verification fee.
3. You will be directed to the Stripe Identity portal.
4. Follow the instructions to submit your identity document and complete the required verification steps.
5. Once Stripe confirms your verification, Linkiipal unlocks your ability to rent and list items.

Paying the fee starts the verification process; it does not mean your identity has been approved. If your attempt is unsuccessful, you can retry without paying another verification fee.

Option 2: LinkiiVerify — Standard Identity Verification

This free option lets you verify your identity through Linkiipal Manual Verification, with your submission reviewed by the Linkiipal team.

1. Choose LinkiiVerify and follow the instructions provided. Contact Linkiipal support if you need help accessing this method.
2. Take a clear selfie holding an official government-issued identity document.
3. Write the 6-digit random code generated by Linkiipal and today’s date on a piece of paper.
4. Take a second clear selfie holding that paper, with the code and date visible.
5. Submit both selfies for review.

Once the Linkiipal team approves your submission, your ability to rent and list items will be unlocked. There is no verification fee for this method.

Get Verified — Instant results

Complete your verification through Stripe Identity and receive an instant result. Once approved, you can immediately rent or list an item. This option requires a one-time verification fee.

LinkiiVerify — Results within 48 hours

This free option requires the Linkiipal team to manually review your submission. The review can take up to 48 hours. You can rent or list an item once your verification is approved.

Both methods grant the same access once approved. Choose Get Verified for instant results and faster access, or LinkiiVerify if you prefer a free option and are comfortable waiting for manual review.

Step 3: Start renting or listing

After either method is approved, your profile receives the Identity Verified badge.

You can then book rental items or add your payout preference to begin listing items as an Owner. You can use Linkiipal as both an Owner and a Renter without completing a separate verification for each role.

You do not need to repeat verification for each booking or listing. If re-verification is required for your account, Linkiipal will notify you.
